We first worked with Bramble.cc several years ago, building them a website in partership with content from Next Communications. But with Bramble.cc becoming a supplier on the Buying Solutions ICT Consultancy & Delivery framework agreement, they needed their site to be able to do more and grow along with their success.

We migrated the entire Bramble.cc website to the WordPress content management and blogging system. This included reconfiguring some of the commonly updated content, such as news articles, to be easier to maintain. We also integrated a membership system and logged in area, which will contain exclusive content accessible only to website members.

Russell Publishing’s European Railway Review magazine, one of their many industry-leading publications, was due a fresh new website design, with a focus on selling both subscriptions to the magazine and delegate places on railway industry events all over Europe.

Working closely with Russell Publishing’s Digital Manager, we designed a new look and feel for the site, and developed a new information hierarchy for the large number of articles and event listings required on the site. The ability for site visitors to subscribe at various levels was crucial, so we used the WordPress content management system and WisList Member premium plugin to create the necessary functions.

Integrating and restyling the SagePay payment system was also required to create a seamless user journey through payment to subscription and creation of member logins.

European Railway Review is one of the largest and most ambitious websites we’ve built, and relies on the powerful WordPress system to drive complex categorisation of articles, multiple membership levels, and conditional content depending on if a visitor is logged in or not, and at what level.

Blackcode Advertising, a leading below-the-line direct marketing specialist, needed a website to showcase their services and bring new people to their team.

With a clear design steer from Blackcode, we built a simple website to reflect the company’s slick and professional values. Features included a custom contact form, interactive Google map and slideshow-style promotional area.

Lucy Premium offers unique and beautiful hair jewels for weddings, parties and dancers, with a patented easy to use applicator and Swarovski crystals.

Their UK website needed a new look and feel to make the shopping experience as professional and slick as the product. We redesigned the site and integrated our new design with the existing e-commerce solution, EKM Powershop.

We also reviewed the entire site for search engine optimisation, writing keyword-rich copy, page titles and descriptions. We finished by creating and submitting a Google sitemap and integrating Google Analytics with the site to track its success.

The Starlite School of Dance needed a new website to replace their old one, which had been constructed using a generic WYSIWYG site builder. The design of the old site didn’t adequately reflect the status of Starlite as a nationally renowned ballroom and Latin dance school, while also being awkward and inflexible to update.

We started by creating a completely new look and feel for the website, including the design of a new logo for Starlite, and rewrote the content for search engine optimisation (SEO).

Starlite were keen to be able to communicate news to the hundreds of kids and adults attending their classes, so we made full use of the WordPress blogging platform to make news and event updates easy, and added an email news signup. A user-friendly gallery was also a key requirement, with Starlite attending regular dances and competitions, so we integrated a Flickr gallery with WordPress to streamline the process of uploading photos to the site.

The result is a website that looks great and has some very powerful functions under the bonnet, courtesy of WordPress and Flickr, but is very easy for a non-technical person to update.

Strictly Kent is the microsite for e-Motive Media’s Strictly Come Dancing events. In the process of creating the Strictly Dancers site, we discovered that our home county of Kent was severely lacking in events themed on the BBC’s hit ballroom dancing TV show, and decided to organise an event of our own.

Our first event, An evening with Ian Waite and Camilla Dallerup, was a huge success, selling out 300 tickets in three weeks. Tickets have just gone on sale for our next event – An evening with Brian Fortuna and Kristina Rihanoff.

The Strictly Kent website proved central to our promotional strategy. With all our offline marketing driving people to the web address, it was essential that the site met users’ expectations. We matched the design of the site to the design of our flyers and posters, and integrated PayPal to make booking tickets for the event incredibly easy and secure. We also added a Google map to help our guests find the venue.

We used Google AdWords and Facebook advertising to drive additional visits to the site, as well as using our contacts from the Strictly Dancers website to communicate news about our first Strictly event.

The professional dancers of the BBC’s hit TV show Strictly Come Dancing perform and teach at dozens of balls, studios and hotels while the series isn’t on our screens – but there was no way for fans of the show to find out where their favourites were appearing.

We created Strictly Dancers as a central place for the Strictly professionals and event promoters to list their events in one user-friendly, easily searchable place. We took advantage of the powerful categorisation features of WordPress to enable fans to filter events by dancer, location and date, and a custom Google Map plots the locations of every event onto a map of the British Isles to make it straightforward for fans to find events near them.

We integrated Google AdSense advertising into the site as a revenue source, as well as including an Amazon shop from which fans can buy Strictly Come Dancing DVDs, books and CDs.

To promote the site as widely as possible, we set up a Strictly Dancers group on Facebook, as well as a Twitter account. Now, when a dancer or event promoter lists a new event on the website, we send a message to the members of the Facebook and post a Tweet on Twitter to let everyone know about it.

The site has been a real hit with fans as well as with the Strictly dancers and promoters running dance events.

Sala International is a leader in records management, with over 200 public and private sector organisations trusting the care and management of over 3 billion documents to them.

We produced a full re-brand, incorporating their logo, signage, literature and website.

Friends of AICM is a charity offering training and direction to Christian communities in Sudan, Rwanda, Burundi and Congo.

They needed a website in order to communicate with their growing supporter base, to promote their goods and services for sale, and to faciliate online credit card donations.

The site is built on the WordPress platform, enabling Trustees from the charity to maintain content and add news stories highlighting the great work that AICM delivers in Africa.

R ‘N’ B artist Silvertown Girl wanted a web presence to showcase her songs and encourage fans to buy them from iTunes.

Rather than build a traditional website, we suggested setting up a MySpace page and re-skinning it to tie in with the look and feel of her promotional material. MySpace provides a cost effective way of delivering streaming music, a blogging facility, an image gallery and a mechanism for MySpace users to comment and link to Silvertown Girl’s page.

Ultimately Silvertown Girl reached a far wider audience at much lower cost through the MySpace network, and is proof of e-Motive Media’s innovative approach to meeting our customer’s online needs.

Our latest build for Symbiosys Business Solutions saw us work closely with their marketing agency Next Communications to produce a website which builds on their brand and presents the wide range of business software solutions they offer.

The new website has been backed by regular email campaigns to existing and prospective customers, which we optimise to ensure deliverability, high open rates and click throughs.

Love Decorating are a decorating business with a difference, in that they use only non-toxic, natural and organic paints.

Their website is built on the WordPress platform, giving them complete control over their content, plus a blog, social tagging, tell a friend and an RSS feed.

Geoffrey Jackson Antiques needed a site to promote their wide range of porcelain and pottery to an international market.

Built on the WordPress platform, the site utilises a complex categorisation system and site wide search to make it easy for visitors to find what they want.

The WordPress interface allows Geoff and his team to maintain the site’s content themselves, posting their latest stock and details of forthcoming fairs and events.
