Will-writing firm Alex Truesdale Wills Limited asked us to create a website not only to promote their professional services in Surrey, Kent and the South East, but to offer a broad range of contextual information on the important of having a valid Will.

With no brand or logo yet in place, we worked with Alex to develop a visual identity for the business, designing her a logo and associated stationery including business cards, letterheads and compliments slips. We designed the website using an extended colour palette, and built it using the highly versatile and search engine-friendly WordPress platform.

Chartered surveyors Cranborne Associates needed a website to promote their range of surveys and reports. With a logo and brand colours already established, our brief was to design a site to be consistent with the company’s existing print materials.

We created a clean, fresh and professional look and feel for the site, and integrated the PageLime content management system to make it easy for Cranborne Associates to update the content themselves. Finally, we submitted a sitemap to Google and installed Google Analytics to keep track of visitors to the website.

Our fifth website for Russell Publishing, Eurotransport shares many of the same applications of open-source content management system WordPress with its sister sites, European Railway Review, International Airport Review, European Pharmaceutical Review and New Food.

However, as we built Eurotransport on the latest major release of WordPress, version 3.0, it boasts a few new features to make maintaining and updating the site even more user-friendly and optimised for search engines.

New Food magazine belongs with Russell Publishing’s family of industry-leading magazines, including European Railway Review, International Airport Review and European Pharmaceutical Review.

Using WordPress and the WishList plugin, the site integrates paid-for members-only articles with publicly viewable content. And we’ve now set up Twitter identities for each publication, with Tweet This buttons against each article, so visitors can reTweet content to their followers.

Charity expert Gill Gibb needed a website for her new consultancy Gill Gibb & Associates. And as she didn’t yet have a logo, she also asked us to help her with that!

We put Gill’s logo out to tender with a range of graphic designers, and were able to provide Gill with a shortlist of seventeen options! Once Gill had chosen the ultimate winner, we produced business cards for the company, and then used the logo as a starting point to build her website.

The final site is very calm and serene, conveying Gill’s complete competence and expertise in the field of charity fundraising, finance and marketing. It uses the light CMS PageLime to enable Gill to update key parts of the site, such as her blog, very easily.

Our third website for Russell Publishing, European Pharmaceutical Review is a sister site to International Airport Review and European Railway Review.

Like the other sites in this family, European Pharmaceutical Review is based on the powerful WordPress content management system, enabling clever and sophisticated categorisation of content and display of many different feeds of content on one page. Paid-for content is available to subscribers, who can sign up using the seamless SagePay payment process and get instant access to premium articles.

Abbey & Lyndon Builders Ltd needed a new website in a hurry, as their previous website had expired! We arranged to transfer their domain name from their existing provider and put together an interim holding page to maintain a web presence for the company while we worked on their new site.

We updated Abbey & Lyndon’s logo for the website, and designed the look and feel around the logo colours. It was important that the site displayed examples of Abbey & Lyndon’s work, so we included a dynamic photo gallery to show off some of their photos.

Redditch-based IT services company Fix IT PC Services needed a clean and fresh new website to promote their IT services and solutions to both home users and small/medium-sized businesses in the West Midlands.

We designed a new look and feel, based around Fix IT’s existing logo and colour scheme. We worked with them to develop keyword-rich content to bring in traffic from Google, and optimised the entire site for search engines using those words and phrases. We also integrated their all-important FreeIndex customer reviews!

This is the second website we’ve built for Russell Publishing – our first was European Railway Review. A sister to ERR, International Airport Review was designed to look consistent with the brand of the first site, with some design changes to represent the different audience.

The membership system was again an important element of the site, and we added some new features with the tag cloud offering quick access to articles by topic, and the company directory listing throughout the site.

We first worked with Bramble.cc several years ago, building them a website in partnership with content from Next Communications. But with Bramble.cc becoming a supplier on the Buying Solutions ICT Consultancy & Delivery framework agreement, they needed their site to be able to do more and grow along with their success.

We migrated the entire Bramble.cc website to the WordPress content management and blogging system. This included reconfiguring some of the commonly updated content, such as news articles, to be easier to maintain. We also integrated a membership system and logged in area, which will contain exclusive content accessible only to website members.

Russell Publishing’s European Railway Review magazine, one of their many industry-leading publications, was due a fresh new website design, with a focus on selling both subscriptions to the magazine and delegate places on railway industry events all over Europe.

Working closely with Russell Publishing’s Digital Manager, we designed a new look and feel for the site, and developed a new information hierarchy for the large number of articles and event listings required on the site. The ability for site visitors to subscribe at various levels was crucial, so we used the WordPress content management system and WishList Member premium plugin to create the necessary functions.

Integrating and restyling the SagePay payment system was also required to create a seamless user journey through payment to subscription and creation of member logins.

European Railway Review is one of the largest and most ambitious websites we’ve built, and relies on the powerful WordPress system to drive complex categorisation of articles, multiple membership levels, and conditional content depending on if a visitor is logged in or not, and at what level.

Blackcode Advertising, a leading below-the-line direct marketing specialist, needed a website to showcase their services and bring new people to their team.

With a clear design steer from Blackcode, we built a simple website to reflect the company’s slick and professional values. Features included a custom contact form, interactive Google map and slideshow-style promotional area.

Lucy Premium offers unique and beautiful hair jewels for weddings, parties and dancers, with a patented easy to use applicator and Swarovski crystals.

Their UK website needed a new look and feel to make the shopping experience as professional and slick as the product. We redesigned the site and integrated our new design with the existing e-commerce solution, EKM Powershop.

We also reviewed the entire site for search engine optimisation, writing keyword-rich copy, page titles and descriptions. We finished by creating and submitting a Google sitemap and integrating Google Analytics with the site to track its success.
