CanTech International is an established industry-leading magazine covering all aspects of metal packaging. This is our second website for Gravesend-based publishers Bell Publishing, following our creation of the Sweets & Snacks Europe website last year.

As the existing CanTech website included a comprehensive company directory and the ability for subscribers to the magazine to access password-protected content, we developed functionality to meet these needs. The company directory is a sophisticated WordPress plugin tailored to CanTech’s needs, enabling companies to purchase listings in the supplier directory either by paying online via SagePay or by requesting an invoice. Existing listings can also be managed, edited, upgraded and renewed online via a custom user control panel, with renewal notifications sent out automatically to companies with listings.

Users can also subscribe to CanTech International online, creating a username and password in the process that gives them access to subscriber-only content – again, either by paying online or by requesting to be invoiced directly. Subscribers can extend their subscriptions online and receive notification when their subscription is due to expire.
