Sweets & Snacks Europe is a brand-new publication for confectionery buyers and retailers, produced by Gravesend-based publishers Bell Publishing. Bell came to us having seen our work on the websites for Russell Publishing’s magazines, and asked us how quickly we could produce a site for the launch of this new publication in January!

We committed to a quick turnaround for the Sweets & Snacks Europe site, aided immensely by Bell Publishing’s excellent brief and prompt provision of the assets needed to put the website together. WordPress once again formed the platform for the site, offering sophisticated functionality and a very simple interface for Bell’s editorial team to use to update the site. We also integrated Mailing Manager, Bell’s email fulfilment system, with the site, enabling visitors to sign up to e-newsletters without the need for Bell’s staff to re-key their details.

With advertising being a key feature of the site, we designed it with plenty of banner space in mind, and integrated OpenX with the site to serve and maage their ad content.

We went live with the site just four weeks after our initial meeting with Bell Publishing, and we look forward to working with the company more in the near future!
